Administrator Setup

No administrator yet

This site has no staff administrator, so nobody can approve press releases or event photos yet. For safety this page will not create one until you prove you are the site owner. There are two ways to do that — either one works, you only need one:

Option 1 — Invite yourself from the Netlify dashboard

Nothing needs to change on this site, and you do not need to redeploy. This is the quickest route if you already have access to the Netlify dashboard.

1. Open this site in the Netlify dashboard and go to the Identity tab.
2. Click Invite users and enter your own email address. Netlify emails you an invitation link.
3. Open that link and choose a password. It lands on the home page, which hands you straight to the partner portal to finish setting up your account.
4. Back in the dashboard’s Identity tab, click your new user, and in the Roles field add admin and save.
5. Sign out of the partner portal and sign back in. The Review Queue and Staff Access tabs now appear.

Option 2 — Unlock this page with a setup key

Use this if you would rather create the account here, on this page.

1. In the Netlify dashboard, go to Project configuration → Environment variables.
2. Add a variable named ADMIN_SETUP_KEY and set its value to any phrase you choose. Treat it like a password — it is what proves you are the site owner.
3. Redeploy the site, then reload this page and fill in the form that appears.

Prefer the command line? netlify env:set ADMIN_SETUP_KEY "your phrase" does the same thing.

Once your administrator account exists you can delete the variable again — this page also locks itself permanently as soon as the first administrator is created.

Already set up

This site already has a staff administrator, so this page is closed. Sign in at the partner portal to reach the review queue. If you need access, ask an existing administrator to grant it to you from the portal’s Staff Access tab.

Create Your Administrator Account

This account can approve, edit, decline and unpublish everything partners submit. It is created once — after that, this page closes for good.

Your name

Shown to partners alongside your review notes.

Email address

This becomes your sign-in name. If a partner account already uses it, that account is promoted instead.

Password

At least 12 characters.
