Demonstration Kitchen

A fully equipped teaching kitchen designed for live cooking demonstrations, culinary education, and nutrition workshops. The Demonstration Kitchen is the heart of Wimberly's Roots food education programming.

Used For:

  • Live cooking demonstrations by local chefs
  • Right Bite Cooking School classes
  • Nutrition education workshops
  • Community culinary events
  • Farm-to-fork cooking sessions

Operated by Wimberly's Roots — a Georgia Grown member working to reduce food insecurity through farm-fresh food and hands-on cooking education — our certified Agricultural Community Kitchen offers a fully equipped, inspected commercial space where local food entrepreneurs can create, package, and scale their products for resale at farmers markets, festivals, and select retail locations. Built to support agricultural growth from first recipe to finished product, our kitchen helps turn small ideas into sustainable businesses.

This shared-use kitchen is designed to support small business development, promote community wellness, and strengthen the local food economy. The facility also includes limited specialty equipment that can function as a honey house, creating added opportunities for local beekeepers and advancing sustainable agriculture across Northeast Georgia.

Available For:

  • Creating, packaging, and scaling food products for resale
  • Small-batch production for farmers markets, festivals, and select retail
  • Small business development and local food economy growth
  • Limited honey house use for local beekeepers

Community Garden & Raised Bed Rentals

Raised garden beds surrounding the Wimberly Center building are available for community use and rental. Whether you're a first-time grower or an experienced gardener, you'll find a welcoming growing space here.

Raised Bed Rentals Include:

  • Support from Wimberly's Roots educators and volunteers
